Moresby Ranges Management Plan

DRAFT MORESBY RANGE MANAGEMENT PLAN – COMMENT INVITED

The Shire of Chapman Valley, in conjunction with the members of the Steering Committee, have consulted with interested community members, landowners, groups, government agencies, corporations and visitors to the region  in the preparation of the draft Moresby Range Management Plan.

The draft Moresby Range Management Plan addresses the section of the Moresby Range that is principally the back drop to Geraldton, and the Plan has now been released for public review and comment.

Your feedback will give the Steering Committee a good understanding of the community's response to the draft Plan and enable further refinements to be made before the final document is released.

The Steering Committee would greatly appreciate receiving any comments on the draft Plan by 4pm Monday 23rd November 2009, on the submission form provided on the following link:

When making a submission, it would be appreciated if you could:

 -          Clearly state your opinion and the reasons for your opinion;

 -          If possible, outline possible alternatives or solutions to your area of interest;

-          If possible, include the section or page number which relates to your area of interest; and

 -          Provide any additional information to support your comments.
