The Shire of Chapman Valley is pleased to announce our success in gaining $100,000 from the Commonwealth Governments funding scheme “Caring for Country”.
This funding will enable the Shire to address important local environmental issues, such as wind erosion.
Local Natural Resource Management Officer Jim Gales said more than $300,000 has been spent in the Shire to help more than 25 landholders and their families deal with wind and water erosion, loss of biodiversity, salinity and water quality issues.
