Planning and Development

The Shire of Chapman Valley through its town planning processes seeks to:

    * recognize and promote the diverse range of opportunities for its residents
    * encourage sustainable development and sound agricultural practices; and
    * preserve the natural and unique landscape and environmental features of the Shire.

To achieve these objectives the Council is guided by a complimentary mix of planning legislation, town planning policies and administrative processes some of which are listed below:
