Proposed Therapeutic Rehabilitation Facility
The Shire of Chapman Valley has received an application for a Therapeutic Rehabilitation Facility to be established upon Lot 11 (No.1) Nabawa-Yetna Road, Nabawa.
This application is being advertised for public comment under Sections 2.2.4 and 5.2 of the Shire of Chapman Valley Town Planning Scheme No.1.
Submissions on the application must be made in writing on the submission form and lodged with the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Chapman Valley before 4:00pm Friday 15 February 2013. Submissions can be forwarded to the Shire office by mail to PO Box 1, Nabawa, by fax on (08) 9920 5155 or a submission form can be scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.

To provide the opportunity for the community to hear more about this application, and to ask questions directly of the applicant, an information session was held at 6:00pm on Monday 4 February 2013 at the Nabawa Community Centre. At this meeting a series of questions were also submitted in writing by community members who asked that the applicant provide a response to them. It was agreed that a copy of the written questions raised at the community meeting and a copy of the applicant’s response to these written questions would be made available on the Shire website for attendee’s further information. A copy of both of these documents has been provided below and the Shire advises that the content of these documents is the responsibility of the author and not prepared or endorsed by the Shire.
At the conclusion of the advertising period this application and any received submissions will be presented to a meeting of Council for its deliberation.
