Agricultural Society
Purpose: For individuals and businesses to showcase their skills and sell their products available. To provide a venue for equestrian events and entertainment. To showcase our local district.
How you can be involved: The event is open for the public to attend and enter competitions and to display or sell their products. The committee welcomes new members and volunteers interested in assisting with planning, organising and manning the various events held.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: The AGM is held in February each year. Dates are advertised in the CV Community Newspaper, School Newsletters or contact the Secretary.
Membership Costs: Adults $12.00 each
Children (under 16 years) $2.00 each
Meeting Location: Contact the Secretary or President for meeting details. There are 3 - 4 meetings per year which are held between February and October.

Ambulance Sub Centre
Purpose: To provide an ambulance service for the community.
How you can be involved: Volunteer to be drivers or Ambulance Officers Attend our meetings Support fundraising functions
Meeting Times &/or Dates: First Wednesday of every second month at 7.00pm. February, April, June, August, October & November.
Membership Costs: Encourage private health fund membership. A donation to Ambulance.
For non health fund members:
$40.00 per family
$22.00 single. $5 to be a voting member of committee.

Basketball Club
Purpose: To promote the game of basketball and to engage in social activities in the community.

Golf Club
Purpose: To promote golf and social interaction in the community of Chapman Valley.
How you can be involved: New members and associates most welcome.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: Season commences late April to mid September. Members and Associates club day is Sunday. Names in to captains by 12.15pm.
Membership Costs: Members & Associates - $50.00
Weekly Ball Fees - $3.00
Meeting Location: 18 Hole sand green course located just off Chapman Valley Road, near the Nanson Showground – 25 minute drive from Geraldton. Good course layout with no hills or creeks

Parents & Citizens Association
Purpose: To promote the interest of the school through co-operation between Parents, teachers, students and members of the general community and assisting in the provision of resources, facilities and amenities for the school.
How you can be involved: Attend monthly meetings. Volunteer/attend busy-bees and fundraising events.

Age Groups: Membership is open to parents, guardian of children attending the school and to citizens being over the age of 18 who are interested in the work of the association.

Chapman Valley Play Group
Purpose: A group for mothers and young children to interact and have fun with each other.
How you can be involved: Come along to one of our sessions and have fun with your kids.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: Every Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 11.30 during school terms. Sessions are held at Yuna.
Membership Costs: $50.00 per year to cover insurance and materials.

Chapman Valley Rifle Club
Purpose: To promote the safe use of firearms in the sport of Target Shooting.
How you can be involved: Attend the range during the months from April to October on Saturday afternoons and you will be welcome.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: AGM normally in February will be advertised.
Membership Costs: $120 for affiliation to WARA
Or $150 for affiliation to WARA and NRA with magazine
Meeting Location: At the range on Indialla Road, Nabawa.

Creating a Better Yuna
Purpose: To promote well being of and foster the community spirit among residents of Yuna.
To act either alone or with other individuals or bodies in the interest of the residents of Yuna.
How you can be involved: Become a member and have input and bring ideas to meetings.

Approximately 4 meetings per year. Quarterly or as there is a need.

Nanson Action Group
Purpose: To co-ordinate and direct the future changes of Nanson, revitalise the town and river.
How you can be involved: Take part in meetings and workshops.

Valley Vibes Community Newspaper
Purpose: To produce a newspaper that specialises in events and people of the Chapman Valley district. To encourage members and contributors to strive for excellence in reporting and presentation.
How you can be involved: Volunteers are welcomed to come along and assist with compiling and proof reading etc; articles for print and with printing the paper. We also welcome the submission of articles for print.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: The 23rd of each month (except December) is the informal meeting of members to prepare the newspaper for print. Formal meetings are held every quarter with the AGM in February.
Membership Costs: 12 months subscription (for 11 issues) - $25.00
Papers are available for sale over the counter at various outlets throughout the district and in Geraldton.

Age Groups: Any person over the age of 18 years is eligible to become a member. Membership shall be by payment of an annual subscription – price set at the AGM with a $1.00 fee to vote at meetings.

Purpose: To improve the well being of all people especially those in country areas by promoting courtesy, co-operation, community effort, ethical standards and the wise use of resources.

Yuna Farm Improvement Group
Purpose: To provide a positive source of communication and learning between Farmers, Agronomists, Scientists and other Local Community Groups with the aim of improving all aspects of local agriculture.
How you can be involved: The group are always looking for fresh ideas, news, trials and trial sites, landcare and rehabilitation projects and innovative farming techniques. We endeavour to have guest speakers on any array of subjects at most of our field days and presentations. We have a committee of 10 – 12 people and encourage anyone interested to join us at any time of year.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: AGM – February – March at Yuna Hall Occasional General Meetings – contact the President, Andrew Williamson for dates and times. Yuna Field Day late September – whole day trip, 4WD preferred.

Yuna Golf Club
Purpose: To promote and play the game of golf in Yuna
How you can be involved: Become a member or enjoy a round of golf on our course as a visitor.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: Golf is played each Sunday from the end of April through to the middle of September.
Hit off time is 12.30 pm.

Yuna Hall & Recreation
Purpose: The Yuna Hall serves as a central multi-purpose building for community events, fundraisers and school concerts. It is both a recreation centre and a central point for information and updates to growers and agricultural organisations.

Yuna Tennis Club
Purpose: To enjoy playing tennis in a small community with a mix of social and competitive fixtures.
How you can be involved: By contacting office bearers to obtain fixtures. Anyone is welcome to play providing they are of high school age or older.
Meeting Times &/or Dates: Fixtures are available from office bearers. Our fixtures are played from the middle of October to the end of March.
