Nabawa

Nanson Church of England

Once known as "Paradise Gully", (the gully runs outside the old Mining Arms Hotel), Nabawa is now the administrative centre for the Shire of Chapman Valley. The Shire office, open Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 4.00pm, also serves as a Tourist Information Centre. Tourist facilities available in the town include public toilets, tavern, fuel and meals (available at the tavern), communal park with gas BBQ facility, drinking fountain and gazebo.

Yuna

Located some 35kms north of Nabawa, is a small community which supports a vast agricultural area. Prominent in the centre and also on the fringe of the townsite is the large CBH grain receival depots. The depots are capable of storing around 96,000 tonnes of grain per year, and is the third largest rural receival point in WA. The facilities available in Yuna include a tavern (with meals) and general store, mini putt course and public swimming pool. The Yuna Golf Club is also a designated caravan stop where members welcome you for a round of golf.

Nanson

Considered a rural hamlet, Nanson has an abundance of historical significance and heritage charm, 25kms from Geraldton, alongside the Chapman River, Nanson is home to the Chapman Valley Historical Society. Visit the Museum every Wednesday from 10am - 1pm, and Sundays from 1pm - 4pm. Slightly north of Nanson is the Chapman Valley Golf Club and the Nanson Show Grounds, home to the annual Chapman Valley Show held on the first Saturday in September.
