There have been some disturbing situations witnessed at Coronation Beach, with day users not adhering to the COVID-19 Commonwealth Government stipulated social distancing requirements.

Geraldton Police have advised fines will be imposed on those not adhering to the social distancing requirements.

The situation will be monitored and if this does not improve the Shire will be left with no option other than to close the beach to the public.
