FIRE BREAK NOTICE
Bush Fire Act 1954
First and Final notice is given to all residents and ratepayers requiring compulsory fire breaks (and mowing/slashing for lots less than 3ha) that these must be installed and maintained by 15th October 2020 as mandatory under the Bush Fire Act 1954.
Failure to install and maintain fire breaks (and mowing/slashing for lots less than 3ha) in accordance with this notice may result in penalties up to $5,000.
Properties will be inspected to ensure compliance with Council’s requirements.
