The Shire is in receipt of an application seeking to install 2 self-serve betting terminals at the Valley Tavern, 3354 (Lot 1) Chapman Valley Road, Nabawa.

This proposal meets with the definition of a ‘Betting Agency’ which is listed under the Shire of Chapman Valley Local Planning Scheme as a land use that must be advertised for comment, prior to determination within the ‘Commercial’ zone.

The application is therefore now being advertised from 4 January 2022 until 28 January 2022 inviting comment.

Should you wish to lodge a submission upon this application it must be received by the Shire prior to 4:00pm Friday 28 January 2022.

The application, and all received submissions will then be presented to the 16 February 2022 Council meeting for determination.

The Council meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Council Chambers, 3270 Chapman Valley Road, Nabawa and commences at 9:00am should you wish to attend.
