Plant Operator (Construction & Maintenance) - Backhoe Operator
Nabawa, WA | Full-time | 9-day fortnight
The Shire of Chapman Valley is seeking a full-time Plant Operator (Construction & Maintenance) - Backhoe Operator to join our Works and Services team in Nabawa.
This hands-on role supports road construction, maintenance, drainage and community infrastructure across the Shire, working as part of a practical team focused on safety and service delivery.
Key benefits:
- Salary package of approximately $101,000 to $106,000 per annum, including superannuation and applicable allowances
- Full-time employment, currently working a 9-day fortnight

Applicants will need experience operating a backhoe and other road construction plant, a strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, and a current Western Australian HR Class Driver’s Licence.
