In relation to the matter of the recent investigation of an alleged dog attack, the Shire has taken action pursuant to its duties and powers under the provisions of the Dog Act 1976.

The Shire has been in contact with the owners of both dogs following a review of the matter.

The Shire acknowledges that this is a difficult situation and understands that the matter has been upsetting for all parties involved.

The Shire considers that further public comment in relation to this matter is not appropriate at this time.
