EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)– FINANCE AND CORPORATE SERVICES

With the New Year approaching the Shire of Chapman Valley is pursuing Expression of Interest from candidates seeking opportunities to work within the Local Government sector.

Forming part of our Finance and Corporate Services team an opportunity exists to express your interest to work across all divisions of Council when additional support is required. The roles may include administrative support and/or technical support to ensure operations and services are performed efficiently and effectively. Reporting directly to the Manager of Finance & Corporate Services, you may be responsible for releasing technical staff from administrative tasks, assisting on various projects, and providing high quality customer service.

You will ideally have a minimum of twelve (12) months experience in an administrative role and/or hold a Certificate III in Business Administration, along with a strong customer relations focus, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable whilst producing high quality work and meeting deadlines.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government Award with an hourly rate offered between $25 and $28 per hour dependent on knowledge, skills & experience. Applicants should be able to undertake the inherent physical requirements of this position without placing them at risk of injury; therefore, the most meritorious applicant identified may be required to undertake a pre-employment health screening and a three (3) month probationary period will apply if offered a position.
