Due to Tropical Cyclone Narrelle, the Shire office is closed. No workers or members of the public are permitted on site, as it is currently not safe. The office will remain closed until the area has been assessed and it is deemed safe for workers to return.

The Shire has received an application seeking to site 2 Tiny Homes, and potentially a further 2 Tiny Homes at a later date, upon 14 (Lot 29) Harmony Place, White Peak to offer short stay tourism accommodation for a maximum number of 8 people.

The Annual General Meeting of Electors of the Shire of Chapman Valley is to be held on Friday 6th February 2026 commencing at 6:00pm at the Council Chambers, 3270 Chapman Valley Road, Nabawa 6532.

The Shire of Chapman Valley will close its administration office for a short break over the Christmas and New Year period, with services resuming in early January 2026.

The Shire is calling for motivated community members to join the Naraling Hall 100 Year Anniversary Advisory Group. This group will guide the planning and delivery of centenary celebrations in 2026, ensuring the event is inclusive, memorable, and honours Naraling Hall's unique local heritage.

Following community consultation during July-August 2025, we have now reached the public comment period for the draft DAIP which incorporates community input.
